This beautifully handcrafted, pear-shaped handbag from the Mayan lands of Guatemala is named B’atz’; the Mayan Spirit of the thread of infinite time. Brought to you from the shores of Lake Atitlan, this unique design embodies colorfully ornate huipil embroidery, combined with genuine leather and artisanal handwoven textiles that have been hand-dyed and lovingly made from 100% natural cotton threads using an ancestral backstrap loom.

We are privileged to uphold the craft traditions of our indigenous mayan community.

Our leather goods are best kept dry and out of high temperatures. You can dust off the leather with a soft brush or cloth and use a specialized leather conditioner to keep the leather supple. The incorporated colorful textiles can be lovingly cleaned with a damp cloth.
